Inflation since 1979

Inflation Since 1979 - I have been doing some scanning of old files and found this on an old manila folder. I thought I would share it as it, 1, shows how far things have gone in one year and 2, it is a record of how far back the Captain Morse House has been a vacation rental property. We would love to go back to summer long rentals. Ah, that was a more genteel time. The Guest Wing is now our West Wing. Our rates range from $3,000 for a long weekend in the off season to $25,000 for a week in August. Quite a change. We used to be able to paint the entire house for under $2,000. The cost now is around $130,000. (Inflation Since 1979)
