It is one of those things that you are just dumbfounded to find. First, the Norton family is one of those iconic Vineyard names descended from a whaling captain.
You can read about Elmer Norton’s father Frank here. Frank L. Norton was a big deal. He employed around 85 skilled carpenters on the island and built the Edgartown Yacht Club.
